Due to insufficient manpower, the Molokaʻi Landfill will close at 1 p.m. from Tuesday, July 28 to Saturday, August 1, 2015, county officials announced.

“The closures are necessary as the department must be able to ensure safe operations and meet the minimum State Department of Health operating requirements of our solid waste permit,” according to the announcement.
