The third meeting for the 100 Women Who Care Maui will be held on Aug. 27 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Maui Country Club (upstairs). Interested parties are asked to bring a “$100 blank check, a friend and a smile.”

At just one meeting, in just one hour, 100-plus individual commitments turn into a $10,000 or more donation for a worthy in Maui County.

Four times a year, the group meets for an hour and jointly votes for a local charity or not-for-profit organization. Each woman agrees to write a $100 check to the selected organization and the group’s commitment turns into a $10,000 or more donation.

Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a social from 6 to 8 p.m. The$24 buffet dinner social is optional. RSVP for the social by Monday, Aug. 24. A cash bar will be available. Download the MAUI COUNTRY CLUB MENU.

The recipient at the last meeting was “Grow the Change.”
