Maui Chamber, Kaiser: Luncheon Meeting on Healthcare Aug. 27

The Maui Chamber of Commerce will host a luncheon sponsored by Kaiser Permanente on Thursday, Aug. 27, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Maui Beach Hotel Elleair Rainbow Ballroom in Kahului. This special luncheon is open to the public.

Mary Ann Barnes, the Hawai‘i president of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and Health Plan, will discuss the cost of healthcare, the changing landscape and Kaiser’s proposal to partner with Maui Memorial Medical Center.

The event will also include an important Q&A session, in which issues and concerns can be directly addressed.

“It’s important for leaders in our community to be part of the discussion and help ensure that Maui has quality healthcare in , now and into the future, as quality care is important to us all,” said Maui Chamber of Commerce President Pam Tumpap.

The cost to attend this event is $37 for chamber members and $47 for non-members.
