Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected waist high or less today with many spots remaining pretty flat.
West: Wave heights waist/shoulder high are expected today. Spots shadowed by other islands will be smaller.
South: The building south-southwest is expected to bring waist/head high waves today. The best breaks could get overhead on the sets.
A storm in the South Pacific has generated another round of fun south-southwest swell for the islands. The swell is expected to peak Monday and Tuesday before beginning to fade on Wednesday. A couple reinforcing swells are likely to build in later this week and into the weekend.
A small northwest is expected to build and peak Tuesday but nothing over waist high is expected from this swell. Otherwise, nothing of note out of the NPAC.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
