No Immediate Advisories After 3.0 Maui Earthquake

There were no immediate advisories issued following a preliminary magnitude 3.0 earthquake reported at 3:18 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 about 19 miles SW of Kīhei in South Maui. The USGS reports that the quake occurred at a depth of 9 km, and was located: 19 miles SW of Kīhei; 21 miles S of Lahaina; 24 miles SSW of Wailuku; 26 miles SSW of Kahului; and 91 miles ESE of Honolulu.
