State Senators Conduct Site Visits on Maui

Members of the Senate Committee on Ways and Means and Maui Senators will be on island today and tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19 and 20, 2015 to tour various sites.

Over the course of two days, the WAM Committee members and Senators from Maui will discuss and view first-hand state projects and programs supported by the Legislature.

The schedule today includes visits to ʻĪao Intermediate School and Maui Waena Intermediate School.  Tomorrow, lawmakers will visit Maui and Lahainaluna high schools, the Hawaiian Island Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary and the Kaho‘olawe Island Reserve Commission facilities in South Maui.
