College Planning Fair Scheduled for Oct. 28
The Hawai‘i Association for College Admission Counseling will sponsor the fall College Planning & College Fair Event for Maui Families on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in H.P. Baldwin High School’s gymnasium.
The fair will include over 90 colleges and universities from across the US and overseas, providing an opportunity for students to learn about a variety of colleges, as well as admission and scholarship policies.
A general college advising and financial aid center will also be available to answer specific questions regarding the college admission process and financial aid.
Prior to the college fair, beginning at 4:30 p.m., a college planning event will be held in Baldwin’s Multipurpose Room. College planning workshops will be offered on a number of topics for college-bound students of all ages: Choosing a College For You, Financial Aid, Art School/Portfolios, ROTC Scholarships, Essay Writing, Colorado Colleges and NCAA The Student Athlete.
This college event is free of charge and open to the public. Students from all Maui schools are invited to attend.
