North: Wave heights are expected to be well overhead to double overhead today with the best breaks pushing bigger on the sets early in the day before an easing trend takes over.

West:  Wave heights knee/waist/chest high are expected today. The best exposures could get up to shoulder high on the sets from time to time. Spots shadowed by other islands will be smaller. Some west-northwest will affect breaks open to the swell in the waist/head high range.

South: The south-southwest is expected to bring knee/waist/chest high waves today. The best breaks could be a bit bigger from time to time.

Screen Shot 2015-10-30 at 5.45.06 PMOur current west-northwest swell (295° to 315°) is expected to hold through early Saturday and trend down through the day and into the weekend.

A south-southwest keeps wave heights around knee/waist/chest high range Saturday but is down to leftovers by the end of the weekend.

Next week another pulse of south-southwest is expected. Will keep an eye on it.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
