A Small Craft Advisory is posted for all Maui County channels and windward waters through 6 p.m. Thursday for east winds up to 20 knots and rough seas up to 10 feet.

Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be a couple feet overhead out of the west-northwest. Our trade swell continues for the Hana side with head high to overhead surf.
West: Wave heights are well below waist high today – just leftovers. Spots shadowed by other islands will be pretty flat.
South: Wave heights are well below waist high today. Breaks open to the trade swell could get up to head high or bigger on the sets east on Wailua side.
A west-northwest continues to fill in today with the swell direction trending more to the northwest late Thursday and into Friday / Saturday. The swell fades over the weekend. Aside from a small northwest swell over the weekend, little in the way of northwest swell is expected for the next week.
Trade swell holds through the week with head high to overhead surf.
Mostly tiny swells from the S are expected over the next week, except for a slightly large batch of swell expected Friday and Saturday.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
