Maui Historical Society Hosts “E Pūlama Mau iā Maui” Fundraiser
The Maui Historical Society hosts its 14th annual fundraiser, “E Pūlama Mau iā Maui,” “Cherish Maui’s History,” scheduled to take place this Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 at the grounds of the Bailey House Museum.
The event features Hawaiian entertainment, more than 30 foot and vendors with Maui made products, cultural demonstrations, and more. In addition, guests are invited to the “Best of Bailey House Special Exhibition,” featuring ʻAhapiʻi with Hili Kukui Dye.
Entertainment includes: Uncle Richard Hoʻopiʻi, Uncle George Kahumoku, Kumu Uluwehi Guerrero and Hālau Hula Kauluokalā, Neal Yamamura and the Lāʻau Street String Band, Homestead, and Kumu Kahulu Maluo and Hālau Hula Kamaluokaleihulu
The co-master of ceremonies will be Kalani Peʻa and Kaʻena Brown.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $10 in advance or $15 at the door. The Bailey House Museum is located at 2375-A on Main Street in Wailuku.
