Soul Kitchen to Perform at Charley’s Dec. 5

Join Soul Kitchen on Maui’s North Shore for a special evening of high-octane entertainment at Charley’s Restaurant and Saloon in Pā‘ia on Saturday, Dec. 5, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Soul Kitchen is acoustic-infused musical alchemy, blending and transcending the traditional genres of soul, blues, jazz, classic rock, Cajun zydeco and Middle Eastern influences.

The soaring, soulful vocals of award-winning lead singer Tempa (“Best Colorado Blues Band,” “Best Soul Album Award”) and sweetly exotic rhythms of guitarist Naor (a Kokhav Nolad finalist, the Israeli version of American Idol) transport listeners to new realms of feeling and musical enjoyment.

Impeccable four-part harmonies and inspired interplay among the violins, saxophone, piano, upright bass and Cuban “cajón” drum complete the sublime flavor, making this band an essential Maui experience for the musical senses.
