Native Hawaiian Scholarship ʻAha.

A Native Hawaiian Scholarship ʻAha takes place tonight, Monday, Dec. 7, beginning at 6 p.m. at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College student lounge.

The presentation is for high school students, parents, teachers, adult students, enrolled college students, counselors, and anyone interested in finding out more about sources of financial aid available for Native Hawaiians.

This includes eligibility criteria and qualification requirements for scholarships. Participants are invited to meet with scholarship providers from: Kamehameha Schools, the Pauahi Foundation, Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, Native Hawaiian Health Scholarship, and Alu Like.

The event is sponsored by the University of Hawaiʻi, Pacific Association of Financial Aid Officers, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, GEAR UP Hawaiʻi, and The Native Hawaiian Education Association.

A similar ʻAha presentation will take place on Molokaʻi on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 at 6 p.m. at the Kūlana ʻŌiwi complex.
