Koa will perform on Lahaina Restoration Foundation’s Baldwin Home Museum lawn at the corner of Dickenson and Front streets on Thursday, Dec. 17, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Koa—Allen Koa, ‘Aiau Koa, Richard Bissen and Mark Vaught—come from diverse musical backgrounds, but they are all passionate about Hawaiian music.

The common thread that brought these friends together was their love of the songs of old Hawai‘i and the challenge of achieving that traditional sound revered by their parents. Whether playing smooth melodies or striking harmonies, the members of Koa truly love to experiment with old-time Hawaiian music.
