Join the Soul Kitchen Big Band in South Maui for a special evening of high-octane entertainment at Mulligan’s On The Blue.

The band’s new three-piece string section brings Soul Kitchen’s chef count to nine musicians, who will be serving up hot dance tunes on Saturday, Dec. 19, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Soul Kitchen is acoustic-infused musical alchemy, both blending and transcending the traditional genres of soul, blues, jazz, classic rock, Cajun zydeco and Middle Eastern influences. The soaring, soulful vocals of award-winning lead singer Tempa (“Best Colorado Blues Band,” “Best Soul Album Award”) and sweetly exotic rhythms of guitarist Naor (Israeli “Idol” musical finalist) transport listeners to new realms of feeling and musical enjoyment.

Impeccable four-part harmonies and inspired interplay among the violins, saxophone, piano, upright bass and Cuban “cajón” drum complete the sublime flavor—making this band an essential Maui experience for the musical senses.

The cover charge at the door is $10.

Dinner reservations are highly recommended at Mulligan’s for the best seats.
