A total of 33 individuals graduated with the latest Community Emergency Response Team training classes held in Pukalani, Kīhei and Hāna on Maui.

The Upcountry and South Maui classes were held in September and October, and each had 12 new graduates.

On Oct. 17, the two classes joined forces for a disaster simulation exercise where the CERT students put their training into action. Various disaster situations were created, including props and volunteers made up to look and act as victims.
