The Maui Food Bank has received thousands of dollars in donations this holiday season, thanks to the results of Restaurant Week Wailea.

Wailea Community Association’s General Manager, Bud Pikrone, presented checks totaling around $6,600 to Marlene Rice, Development Director for the Maui Food Bank, on behalf of participating Wailea Resort restaurants from their recent “Restaurant Week Wailea” dining experience.

Wailea Resort’s bi-annual, three course, pre-fixe dinner menus showcase the variety of top dining venues, while providing an opportunity to raise funds for the Maui Food Bank.  Around 20 restaurants took part in the event this year.
