Lane Closures for Jan. 8–15

The state Department of Transportation has announced lane closures for Maui. Schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.

Old Haleakalā Highway, Kahului
Weekend and nighttime 24-hour lane shifts on Old Haleakalā Highway in both directions between A‘alele Street and Kala Road on Friday, Jan. 8, through Friday, Jan. 15, for roadway construction. Motorists are advised to follow all traffic control signs and drive with caution through the work zone. Flaggers will be stationed at the site to direct motorists through the area.

Hāna Highway, Ha‘ikū
Weekend and nighttime 24/7 left lane closure on Hāna Highway in the eastbound direction between the Garden of Eden Arboretum and Keanae Road. Working hours include Monday, Jan. 11, through Friday, Jan. 15, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., daily, for roadway improvements.

Kuihelani Highway, Kahului
Left-turning lane closure on Kuihelani Highway in the northbound direction between Honoapi‘ilani Highway and Pu‘unēnē Avenue on Monday, Jan. 11, through Friday, Jan. 15, over a 24-hour period for paving work.
