Screen Shot 2016-01-07 at 11.10.23 PMNorthwest swell is expected to linger into Friday morning. Another round of swell is expected out of the west-northwest Friday afternoon and Saturday with an XL northwest swell on its heels for late Saturday, peaking early Sunday morning.

Trade swell is expected to remain pretty small through the week.

Our current south-southwest lingers through the week with wave heights topping out in the knee high range, possibly bigger at standouts on the sets.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
