MMMC Heart Failure Presentation, Fair on Feb. 2

Maui Memorial Medical Center will host an evening presentation on heart failure and an a Heart Health Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 2.

The event, held in conjunction with Heart Disease Awareness Month, will feature a panel of experts with participating community partners.

The fair, which will begin at 4:30 p.m. outside the hospital auditorium, will include the American Heart Association, Malama Ke Ola Health Center, MMMC Outpatient Clinic, Maui County Office of Aging, Kaiser Permanente, Hospice Maui and UH Maui Nursing Students.

The event will continue with lectures inside the auditorium beginning at 5:30 p.m. Keynote speakers will include Dr. Kimble Poon, cardiologist; Dr. Eric Nordsieck, cardiologist; Dr. Jay Lakkis, nephrologist; and Lisa Husch, dietician.

The event is free and open to the public; complimentary valet parking is available.
