Bring your questions about lighting for small businesses or large facilities to the “Lighting Wizard” at a workshop hosted by the Sustainable Living Institute of Maui on Jan. 26, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The workshop will be held in the Laulima building at UH Maui College in Kahului.

Stan Walerczyk, known as the “Lighting Wizard,” keeps up to speed with the latest lighting technologies.

In his upcoming workshop, called “Lighting for a New Hawai‘i,” Walerczyk will spend a morning sharing the best options for what he calls “human-centric lighting”—lighting that is healthy and beneficial for the human body.

He’ll also help participants assess their lighting needs for their business or facility based on energy efficiency and cost savings.

The cost to attend the workshop is $79. Employees of small or large businesses will receive a $54 Hawaii Energy sponsorship and pay $25.
