Papa Avenue and Onehee Street Intersection Work

The County of Maui will be replacing the traffic signal controls at the intersection of Papa Avenue and Onehee Street on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016.

The work will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., during which time there will be no active traffic signals at the intersection.

Instead, Maui police will be directing traffic through the intersection and message boards will placed on the roadways prior to inform motorists of the situation.

Motorists are asked to drive carefully and obey all traffic signs and directions from road crews on scene.

Representatives with the Department of Public Works thanked the community in advance for their patience and understanding.
