Maui Surf Forecast
North: Overhead surf is expected today. The best northern exposures could get up to double or triple overhead, especially early in the day.
West: Wrap from the northwest swell affecting some western shores today. Spots along the western coast will vary greatly in size based on the amount of exposure.
South: Wave heights are waist high or less today.
Our current large northwest swell is expected to hold pretty steady through early morning and begin to slowly fade over the weekend. Another northwest swell is expected to fill in Saturday and peak on Sunday before beginning to fade Monday. Monday night, another northwest is expected to begin building.
Solid swells are expected to continue for our northern exposures through the first few days of March.
A fun size bump could fill in around March 7 – 9 for southern exposures.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
