Early Morning Brush Fire in Launiupoko

Lahaina firefighters doused a small 2,000 square foot brush fire reported in the early morning hours on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 in Launiupoko.
The fire was reported shortly after 4 a.m. in an open field located a half-mile above the Honoapiʻilani Highway.
Fire officials say crews accessed the fire by driving up a dirt access road. The cause of the fire was undetermined.
