Maui Surf Forecast
North: Many spots are expected to be chest/head high today. The best breaks could get up to overhead on the sets.
West: Ankle high surf is expected. Pretty flat for most spots. Breaks catching the wrap could get up to head high or more.
South: Wave heights are knee/waist high today.
A very small south-southwest is expected to continue through the end of the work week. Nothing much expected out of the SPAC anytime soon.
A north-northwest swell is expected to peak Friday at about head high with a northwest expected to build Saturday and peak Sunday. Both swells are expected to get up to chest high with the best exposures possibly bringing in overhead waves.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
