The National Football League and Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority announced today that, by mutual agreement, the deadline for either side to opt out of the contract for the 2017 Pro Bowl has been extended to May 31, 2016.
Accordingly, the contract between the NFL and HTA for the 2017 Pro Bowl has been amended.
Previously, the deadline to opt out of the contract had been March 31, 2016.
This two month extension allows discussions to continue while both parties consider all possible options for the 2017 Pro Bowl.
