Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected about waist/head high. At the best breaks we could see possible bigger sets.
West: Ankle/knee high surf is expected. Breaks catching the wrap could get up to waist high or more on the sets.
South: Surf is ankle/knee high today.
A solid, long period northwest swell is expected to build Saturday night into Sunday, peaking late Sunday around overhead to double overhead before beginning to ease on Monday.
Not much expected out of the SPAC anytime soon. Minimal southerly swell is expected to trickle in over the next few days. Swell is possible around April 18th or so.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
