The Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for the 2016 Gintong Pamana Leadership Awards.

The awards recognize outstanding members of the Maui Filipino community who have exhibited leadership skills, excelled in his or her career and have given back the community, Chamber President Kit Zulueta said on Tuesday, April 12.

Recipients will be honored at the Gintong Pamana Leadership & Scholarship Awards banquet on Thursday, June 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Maui Beach Hotel.

“We need your help in identifying deserving, yet sometimes unsung leaders of our community,” Zulueta said, “It may be a family member, a coworker, or someone who is an inspiration to you and many others.”

The nomination form is available online. Nominations must be postmarked by April 29 and mailed to Maui Filipino Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 331033, Kahului, HI 96733.

Tickets for the banquet are at $50 per person and may also be purchased online.

Sponsorship and advertising opportunities are also available.
