Governor David Ige and US Senator Brian Schatz will keynote the Maui County Democratic Party’s Annual Convention on Saturday, May 7 at Maui Waena Intermediate School in Kahului. State Senator Gil Keith-Agaran will serve as convention chairman.

Business includes voting on the Party’s platform, considering resolutions, electing State Central Committee members, receiving legislative updates and planning for the state and national Democratic conventions.

Party representatives say Councilmembers Gladys Baisa and Michael Victorino, both who will be retiring at the end of the year, will be honored for their service on the Maui County Council.
