The National Weather Service issued a “record event” report for rainfall today.

The last record was set in 1969 at 0.03 inches. So far, we’ve received 0.32” of rain today and additional rainfall could occur through midnight. We will update this post if that occurs.

Several flood advisories were posted today for parts of Maui County. At this time, they have all expired but this weather pattern is expected to continue through the weekend with trade winds returning for Memorial Day.
