A campaign kick off event ‘Meet and Greet with Alika Atay’ will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Pukalani Community Center.

Atay is a candidate for the Maui County Council’s Wailuku seat.  His was also a vocal player in the SHAKA Movement’s efforts seeking a moratorium on Maui GMO crops.

Alika will share his mana’o and gather thoughts from the community.

Dinner is Hawaiian mea ‘ai and includes lūʻau stew, ulu salad, green salad, pa’i ‘ai, poke and desserts.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.; an opening pule and dinner will be served at 6 p.m.; and volunteer committee meetings will convene at 7 p.m.
