Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be pretty flat with spots around Hana around knee to possibly waist high.
West: Surf is flat today for west shores. Exposures catching the wrap from out of the south could get up to waist high by sunset.
South: Surf is knee/thigh high today with a building trend.
We expect a series of overlapping south-southwest swells to move in over the next few days. Wave heights will build with the peak expected Sunday. Forerunners to the first swell are forecast to move in late Wednesday.
Quiet in the North Pacific at this time with nothing of note generating swell energy for the foreseeable future.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
