Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be pretty flat with spots around Hana around knee to knee/waist/chest high.
West: Surf is chest/head high today out of the southwest.
South: Surf is chest/head high today with the best breaks getting overhead on the sets from time to time.
We expect a series of overlapping south-southwest swells to move in over the next few days. Wave heights will build with the peak expected Sunday. Sunday the best breaks could push up to nearly double overhead.
Quiet in the North Pacific at this time with nothing of note generating swell energy for the foreseeable future.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
