A 9-year-old boy from Tampa, Florida is scheduled to arrive on Maui tomorrow as part of a dream-come-true wish granted by the Children’s Dream Fund organization.

The boy was diagnosed in January with lymphoma, a week before his 9th birthday.

During one of his frequent hospital stays, a representative from the organization offered the boy a wish, which happened to be visiting Maui; getting to see turtles, dolphins and a volcano; and visit a candy store.

During his visit, Samuel Young and his family will stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, go on adventures with Atlantis, the Old Lahaina Lūʻau, Maui Paddle Sports, and Kahoma Ranch Tours.  Other donors that have also stepped forward include Bubba Gump’s, Leihani’s on the Beach, and the Cool Cat Café.

The Children’s Dream Fund has been making dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses living in West Central Florida since 1981.
