    Maui County Surf Forecast Today

    North: Surf heights to be expected in the shoulder to head high range. Small short period wind waves from the east falling slightly during the day. Light east winds with a slight chop all day.

    West: Surf heights to be expected in the ankle to knee high. Small mid period swell from the south-southwest holding during the day. Light and variable east-northeast winds with smooth seas all day.

    South: Surf heights to be expected in the knee to chest high. Easing SSW swell. SMALLER OR FLAT for spots shadowed by the offshore islands.

    Maui County Surf Forecast Sunday

    North: Surf heights to be expected in the ankle to waist high range. Small short period wind waves from the east-southeast holding during the day. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop all day.

    West: Surf heights to be expected in the ankle to knee high. Very Small mid period swell from the south-southwest holding during the day. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop, Increasing later.

    South: Surf heights to be expected in the knee to thigh high occ. 3ft. Minor SSW swell. FLAT for spots shadowed by the offshore islands.

    Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
