Maui County Surf Forecast

North: Surf heights are expected around the waist high range across the better northerly exposures, mostly less. Small short period wind waves from the north-northwest rising later in the day. Light east-northeast winds with a slight chop.

West: Much of SW Maui will be completely flat. Minimal SSW swell, with waves around waist high or less across the Southern Hemi exposures, mostly less.

South: Surf heights are expected in the knee to thigh high range. Minor SSW swell. FLAT for spots shadowed by the offshore islands.

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
