Maui Surf Forecast
North: Wave heights are expected to be knee/waist high today. The best breaks could get up to chest high on the sets. New swell should start showing before dark.
West: Surf is waist high today or less.
South: Surf is waist high today or less.
Another round of northwest swell is forecast to build late Thursday and peak Friday with occasional overhead sets. Some north-northwest energy is due in shortly thereafter for the weekend.
A modest trade swell will continue for north and east exposures.
Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC with minimal leftovers expected this week.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
