ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

North: Wave heights are expected to be knee/waist/chest high today. Shoulder high sets in the morning but easing. Up to head high for exposures catching the trade swell.

West: Surf is knee/thigh high today. Spots catching the wrap will be bigger.

South: Surf is waist high today or less.

screen-shot-2016-10-23-at-9-31-32-pmNortherly swell is fading today. New west-northwest swell is expected to build Tuesday into Wednesday. Peaking with well overhead sets late Tuesday into early Wednesday. The swell fades late Wednesday through the end of the week.

ARTICLE CONTINUES BELOW AD

Trade swell drops slightly today with waist/chest/head high waves for the best exposures. Conditions will be pretty blown out.

Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC with minimal southern hemisphere swell around waist high or less today.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
