Although it’s easy to use the same old appetizer recipes when hosting a party, after this class you’ll come away with new ideas, new flavors and even new ways of presenting appetizers.

Participants will learn how to make several appetizers in a round-robin station class, as well as leave with some great ideas on how to display the food in an inviting way.

In this class, you will learn how to prepare:

Wild mushroom and smoked chèvre crostini
Caprese sliders
Crab salad on endive
Guava glazed meatballs
Bacon wrapped scallops
Marinated lamb chops with mint-basil pesto
Artichoke tarragon dip with crackers and crostini
Brie en croute
Pesto grilled bruschetta with fresh fig, mascarpone and apple slices
Butternut squash soup shooter, cinnamon sugar croutons
Phyllo triangles, bacon jam, brandied cherry
Crispy roasted boneless chicken thigh – sliced over spoon corn bread with pan juice gravy (small plate)
BLT sliders
Gourmet cheese display
Hummus and crudité display
Special drink: Inventive holiday punch
