Maui Surf Forecast
North: Waist/head high surf is expected today with slightly larger waves on the sets at the best breaks.
West: Surf is pretty flat today for most westerly exposures. Northwest Maui will catch some wrap at spots exposed to that direction.
South: Surf is below waist high today for southern exposures.
Our current mix of northeast and northwest swell is forecast to prevail through the weekend. The next northwest swell is lining up for Sunday evening into Monday with waist to head high surf again expected. A larger swell is expected to build late Monday through Tuesday with a medium size swell expected for the 15th / 16th as well.
Nothing significant is expected out of the SPAC in the near future.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
