Red Cross Shelter Opens Due to Landslides, Flooding

Civil Defense will be opening up shelter at the Wailuku Community Center at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2016.




The American Red Cross is in the process of opening a shelter at Hāna High School Gym for residents evacuated from their homes due to landslides and flooding.

WHEN The shelter opened at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016.

The Red Cross is not a government agency and depends on public contributions to help others. All Red Cross assistance to disaster victims is free.
