Short period trade swell continues Friday.

Both northeast trade swell and northwest swell are forecast to ease on Saturday. A north reinforcement is expected Sunday afternoon and will fade out through the early part of the week. A west-northwest is forecast to filter in Tuesday with another new northwest on its heels for Wednesday.

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
