Maui Police: “Still Actively Looking for Billy Oliveira”
The Maui Police Department issued a missing person update today saying they are still actively looking for Billy Oliveira, who was reported missing on July 16, 2015.
Oliveira was last seen in the Nāhiku area on July 14, 2015.
He is described as 5’11” tall, 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He would be 41 years old now.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Billy Oliveira are asked to call the Maui Police Department at (808)244-6400.
Administrators of the Help Us Find Billy Oliveira Facebook page wrote the following message on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017:
Aloha Family and Friends…Our family needs your help. We are offering a reward again for information that may lead us to finding answers regarding Billy’s disappearance.

It has been a year and a half and we still have no new information regarding Billy’s disappearance. I am hoping that with this flyer being circulated someone’s heart will be softened enough to tell us where he is.
While it has been a very long time, we still have no evidence that something bad happened to Billy, so we have a tiny glimmer of hope that somehow, someway, he is out there on this island. We beg that if you know he is out there to please tell him we just want to know he’s ok…mama is still not well an I know for a fact if we found out he was ok it’d make a world of difference for her…he was her life for many years…
