Molokaʻi High to Dedicate New Science Building
Molokaʻi High School students will dedicate the campus’ new science building at a ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017.
The new facility at the island’s only high school will provide state-of-the-art teaching tools for Molokaʻi’s ninth through twelfth-graders and includes two customizable science labs for Physics, Biology and Chemistry classes and a teacher prep room.
The building was designed to be environmentally friendly and sustainable with natural lighting, cross ventilation and an attached water catchment system.
Principal Stanford Hao and Dr. Keoni Kauwe, Associate Professor and Associate Dept. Chair of Biology at Brigham Young University will be among those on hand for the dedication ceremony.
