Organizers of the Women’s March on Maui continue their efforts to engage the public with “ThrowDown” Thursday Rallies in February.

Starting on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, the Organizing for Action – Maui Chapter and the Women’s March on Washington – Maui team will host weekly rallies at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui campus front entrance.

Organizers are calling the rallies a form of “peaceful resistance” in response to policies the new administration is proposing that organizers say “threaten democracy.”
