During the month of March, Wailea Realty Corp.’s boutique Windermere Real Estate owners Brad MacArthur and Tom Tezak will have their office donate $1,000 from every home sale to Assistance Dogs of Hawaiʻi.
The donation will be made via the Windermere Foundation, which to date has contributed over $33 million towards improving lives in communities where Windermere agents live and work.
The announcement regarding the donation was made at Assistance Dogs of Hawaiʻi Valentine’s Benefit on Saturday, Feb. 11, where Windermere was a major sponsor.
Assistance Dogs of Hawaiʻi is a non-profit organization that provides children and adults with disabilities professionally trained dogs that increase their independence and enhance the quality of their lives. They are committed to serving people in Hawaiʻi with special needs, providing the dogs and their care free of charge. The donations made by Windermere will help with the costs associated with purchasing, caring for, and training the therapy dogs.
“Assistance Dogs of Hawaiʻi provides an invaluable resource to both children and adults in our community who have disabilities, so that they can reach their highest potential,” said MacArthur. Tezak added, “We’re honored to have the opportunity to support an organization that is doing so much for our neighbors in need.”
