EAST MAUI SINK HOLE: The storm caused a sink hole to appear along Piʻilani Highway near Kalepa Point on Saturday. The sinkhole has since been filled and the road reopened today.

FLOODING AT PAHIHI/PIʻILANI HWY: Heavy rains caused water to flow over Piiʻlani Highway near the Pahihi area (not Kaupō Gap as initially reported) shutting down the road Sunday. Crews cleared debris and reopened the highway by noon today.

Landslides occurred in several areas along Kahikili Highway near mile marker 11. Those landslides were cleared Sunday. PC: County of Maui 4.30.17
