basketballMaui announced its open registration for Summer Camp 2017 for youth eight to 18 years old.

Attendees of the summer camp will experience world class basketball instruction, leadership and life skills featuring slam dunk champion and YouTube sensation Kenny Dobbs and University of Washington basketball star and professional skills trainer, Ryan Appleby.

The camp begins at War Memorial Gymnasium on June 4, from noon to 3 p.m., June 5-8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and culminates with a special Friday, June 9, evening event for the entire family at 7 p.m.

Campers will be divided into divisions according to age and ability. Parents are also welcome to attend and watch.

A bus service will be available from Kihei from Akina Aloha Tours ($45 at Hope Chapel).

All campers will receive an Adidas camp t-shirt, custom Baden basketball, camp group photo and athlete training workbook.

An Early Bird Special price for the camp is $99 until May 7, 2017. Registration will increase to $130 after May 7.
