Work is continuing on restroom improvements in the Summit District at the Park Headquarters Visitor Center located at 7,000 feet. The park plans to work on one restroom at a time while the other remains open. Portable toilets will be available for visitor use also.

The water filling stations and fountains remain available for visitor use during the project.

The toilets at Hosmer Grove, Halemau‘u Trailhead, and Kalahaku Overlook are open.

Park officials apologized in advance for any inconvenience and thanked the public for their understanding.
