Lyft Launches Premier Stylish Ride Option on Maui

Starting today, Lyft customers on Oʻahu and Maui will now be able to request a high-end car to get them to their destination.

Lyft PremierTM provides stylish, yet affordable rides to users of the ride-sharing platform.

The new ride option will pair passengers with luxury sedans and SUVs such as BMW 3 Series, Audi A6, Lexus ES or a Cadillac Escalade.

Users can request Lyft Premier in the Lyft app. With the Premier option, riders can kick back in leather or leather-like seats in a premium car, enjoy a comfortable interior, and count on a high-end experience.

“We’re excited to add Oʻahu and Maui to the roster of destinations offering Lyft Premier,” said Lyft Regional Director Jamie Raczka. “It’s a great option for riders who want a little luxe with their Lyft experience.” Lyft Premier is offered in more than 80 cities.

How Lyft Premier Works:
1. Request: Whether you’re riding solo or with friends, you’ve got options including Lyft Premier. Just tap request and a driver’s there.
2. Ride: After just a few taps in the Lyft app, a carefully screened driver will be on the way to you — just set your pickup point.
3. Pay: When the ride ends, just pay and rate your driver through your phone.

The Lyft rideshare program was founded in June 2012 by Logan Green and John Zimmer and is now available in 48 states.
