Country Duo Thompson Square Coming to MACC, Nov. 25

The multi-platinum country selling duo Thompson Square has included a concert at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center as part of their upcoming and first-ever “This is Us” acoustic tour.

The concert will take place in the Castle Theater on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m.

Thompson Square is comprised of married couple Shawna and Keifer Thompson. The multi-platinum selling country act has earned #1 singles in three countries: the United States, Canada and Australia with “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not”, “If I Didn’t Have You”, and “Everything I Shouldn’t Be Thinking About”.

Thompson Square is a two-time Academy of Country Music “Vocal Duo of the Year” winner (2012 and 2013) and a four-time nominee. In all, Thompson Square has scored three #1 hits, five Top 15 hits, seven mainstream industry awards, over 30 award nominations and appeared on major media franchises from “The Tonight Show,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” “Conan,” and “CBS This Morning.”

Thompson Square recently added another media accomplishment to their talents, having co-authored the young adult novel, “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not,” inspired by their double platinum Grammy-nominated song.


Tickets go on sale to MACC members on Saturday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m. and to the general public Thursday, Sept. 28.


Tickets are $45, $65, $85, and a limited number of premium $125 seats. Ticket benefits for members start at the Ō‘hia level and above and ticket limits apply.
